Adam Beavis from VMware discussed VI3, Vmotion, High Availability and talked of Continuous Availability, which when available you will be the first to know through Byte.  Furthermore Adam discussed Disturbed Resource Scheduler, Distributed Power Management, Update Manager, VDI and Site recovery manager.

Chris Troiani from EMC discussed the path to success through EMC and VMware integration ease and Clarion CX4. Chris also explained Site Recovery Manager, the EMC Management Suite which has the same user experience as VMware. Furthermore Chris discussed the most effective de-duplication software Avamar, which according to Chris on recent initial implementations has averaged 80% reduction in the backup’s of data moved to memory, meaning it takes far less time to backup. Avamar making backup and storage simply fast and effective.
